Strawberries
Maple Syrup
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the mixture
Whisk in a bowl the egg, vanilla essence, cinnamon & milk.
Pour into a flattish tray that you can then soak your bread in, I start with two slices and soak in the mixture on both sides for 1 minute each.
Step 2: Wash and chop your strawberries
Step 3: French up your toast!
On a medium heat add a knob of butter to the pan.
After a few minutes when the pan is hot pop your soaked bread in (you want a sizzle and for the bread to brown on both sides).
After a few minutes turn the bread and fry the other side.
When it is cooked to your liking assemble on a plate on top of each other.
Step 4: Assemble the final touches
Start by squeezing maple syrup over.
Sieve the icing sugar on the toast.
Assemble the strawberries.
