Panko Crumbed Lemon Pepper Beans (V)

Healthy veggie snack!

Perfect served with Hummous!

Ingredients:

Serves 2 | 15 minute cook | Approx 402 calories

  • A bag of shop bought green beans

  • Panko bread crumbs

  • Plain Flour

  • 2 Eggs

  • Lemon pepper seasoning (store bought)

Instructions:

Step 1: Wash your green beans

  • Chop the ends (leave whole) and set aside.

Step 2: Prepare your dipping options

  • Beat two eggs in a bowl, set aside.

  • Sprinkle panko crumbs on a plate (approx a cup to start with), add 1/2 packet lemon and pepper seasoning, mix set aside.

  • Add flour to a plate and set aside.

Step 3: Create the coating

  • Make sure your beans are dry.

  • Dip the beans in order of: Flour, egg, panko crumbs.

  • Put in the air-fryer, fry for 5-10 minutes / 180 degrees until golden brown (top tip - don’t overcrowd the air-fryer make sure there is some space between the beans so they can crisp up, you can spray with some light oil before shutting the draw).

Step 4: Serve with houmous
