Assembled burger

Dijon mustard coated burger

Add the cheese

Ingredients:

Serves 1 | Prep time 25 mins | Approx 510 calories

  • Beef burger

  • Salt and pepper

  • Bread bun of your choice 

  • 2 Lettuce leaves (I’m using cos)

  • 1/4 Onion

  • Burger pickles 

  • Cheese slice 

  • Condiments - Burger sauce & Tomato sauce

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare your ingredients

  • Cut your bun in half and butter

  • Pick a couple of lettuce leaves 

  • Finely chop the onion

  • Get the condiments ready

  • Take the burger out and season with salt and pepper 

Step 2: Prepare the burger

  • Put a frying pan or BBQ on a medium heat with some oil

  • The burger should sizzle when it goes in the pan 

  • After 2 minutes turn the burger over and brush the cooked side with Dijon mustard and flip over

  • Coat the other side with Dijon mustard and fry for a couple of minutes

  • Add the cheese slice on to melt (put a lid on the pan to help if needed) and turn the heat off

Step 3: Assemble 

  • Squeeze burger sauce on the bottom of the bap

  • Then add lettuce leaves, burger, chopped onion, burger pickles and either more burger sauce or a sauce of your choice.

  • Add your bun and enjoy.
