Ingredients:

Serves 4 | 15 minutes cook | Approx 565 calories for the whole bowl

  • 1 Tin of chickpeas

  • 1/4 - 1/2 a cup of freshly squeezed lemon

  • 1/4 Cup of Tahini (well stirred)

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin

  • 3 Tsbp good quality olive oil (can just use water rather than any oil)

  • Salt & pepper

  • 3-5 Tbsp. water to loosen depending on the texture

For Dressing:

  • Pomegranate seeds

  • Dukkhah

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare

  • Drain your Chickpeas in a seive

Step 2: Blend & serve

  • Add all the ingredients in a blender and mix

  • Check the consistency, and from here add more lemon juice or water to loosen and get to your perfect consistency, continue to taste, adjust to your liking adding more lemon juice, salt and pepper etc

Step 3: Additional garnishing

  • To elevate the dip sprinkle with popping pomegranate seeds and Dukkhah, the sweet and depth of flavour combo is a great addition!
