Quick Halloumi and Asparagus on Toast (V)

Ingredients:

Serves 1 | 8 minutes cook | Approx 366 calories

  • 1/2 Block of Halloumi

  • Slice of toast

  • Asparagus

  • Honey

  • Chilli flakes

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare

  • Slice the Halloumi

  • Trim the stalks of the asparagus and wash

Step 2: Toast and fry

  • Fry the asparagus in light oil for a few mins on a medium heat, you can put the saucepan lid over to semi steam so it cooks through to tender

  • Set aside

  • Put the toast in the toaster and fry the Halloumi

Step 3: Serve

  • Layer the toast with the Halloumi and drizzle with honey and chilli flakes

  • Top it off with the asparagus and sprinkle with salt and pepper
