Quick Halloumi and Asparagus on Toast (V)
Ingredients:
Serves 1 | 8 minutes cook | Approx 366 calories
1/2 Block of Halloumi
Slice of toast
Asparagus
Honey
Chilli flakes
Salt and pepper
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare
Slice the Halloumi
Trim the stalks of the asparagus and wash
Step 2: Toast and fry
Fry the asparagus in light oil for a few mins on a medium heat, you can put the saucepan lid over to semi steam so it cooks through to tender
Set aside
Put the toast in the toaster and fry the Halloumi
Step 3: Serve
Layer the toast with the Halloumi and drizzle with honey and chilli flakes
Top it off with the asparagus and sprinkle with salt and pepper
